BYRNE YACHTS (BYRNE YACHTS DWC-LLC, licence no. 15591, issued by Dubai South Business Hub) is a yacht brokerage registered in the Dubai South Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We help clients buy, sell and charter yachts in the UAE and internationally.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, see our ads, or contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email or social media, and how we use and protect it. Where this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means BYRNE YACHTS.

Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business.
Contact details
Name, phone number and email address, when you message, call or email us.
Enquiry details
Whether you want to buy, sell or charter; budget, timing and yacht preferences; details of a yacht you own. You tell us these in conversation.
Communications
WhatsApp messages, emails and call notes from our conversations with you.
Transaction information
Identity documents, proof of address, company and payment details. Only if you proceed with a purchase, sale or charter, as required for contracts and compliance checks.
Website usage
Pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
Advertising data
Whether you saw or clicked one of our ads, from our advertising partners such as Meta and Google.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as health or religious data.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
• Reply to your enquiry and discuss what you are looking for
• Find, present and arrange viewings of yachts, or market a yacht you are selling
• Prepare and carry out sale, purchase and charter agreements
• Meet our legal, regulatory, anti-money-laundering and record-keeping obligations
• Send you relevant updates, such as yachts that match your interests, where you have agreed to receive them
• Improve our website and measure how well our advertising works
We process your information because you asked us to (to answer your enquiry or take steps towards a contract), because we must by law, because we have a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights, or because you gave your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
We never sell your personal information.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential to make the site work. Others, used only with your consent where required, help us understand how visitors use the site and measure our advertising.

When you interact with our ads or visit our site, Meta and Google may collect information through their own cookies and pixels, under their own privacy policies. You can manage cookies through our cookie banner, your browser settings, and the ad preferences in your Meta and Google accounts.
WhatsApp, phone and email
Most of our clients contact us on WhatsApp. When you message us there, WhatsApp (owned by Meta) also processes your messages and details under its own privacy policy. We keep your number and our conversation so we can continue helping you.
We will only add you to marketing messages, such as new yachts for sale, if you agree. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying "stop" or telling us directly.
Who we share it with
We share your information only when needed to help you, and only what is needed:
• The other side of a deal and fellow brokers, such as a seller, buyer, charter operator or co-broker, when you want to proceed with a yacht
• Professionals involved in a transaction, such as surveyors, lawyers, escrow agents, banks, registries and insurers
• Service providers who run our website, email, cloud storage and advertising, under contracts that protect your data
• Authorities, when the law requires it
Because we work internationally, your information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside the UAE, including in Europe and the United States. When we do this, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and conversation records for as long as we are in touch, and for up to 3 years after our last contact. Transaction records are kept for as long as UAE law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls on our devices and accounts. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
• Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
• Ask us to correct or update it
• Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it
• Object to or restrict how we use it, including for marketing
• Withdraw your consent at any time

Children
Our services are not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
